Parallel shaft indexing drive FergusonIMC Parallel Indexers use a pair of conjugate plate cams with yoke-mounted followers parallel to the axis of the output. The input and output shafts are parallel, in a configuration that means there are no ribs on the cam and no reversal of the cam followers. Rates of more than 1,000 indexes per minute are possible with parallel indexers.
- High Speed Capability (with non-reversing cam followers) - High Load Capability (with oversized cam followes) - Shock Resistant (more robust) - Motion Flexibility (oscilling and complete motions) due to conjugate cam geometry - 1 - 8 stop range and oscillating motions |
