Variable angle end-milling machine
max. 200 x 200 x 25 mm | FRVL 200
FICEP
The building of lattice towers for energy transmission or telecommunication requires a lot of splicing between columns. Columns in this case are made of heavy angles and the splicing requires heel milling for facilitating the connection assembly.
This machine can be positioned in the factory as a standalone unit or at the end of the out-feed conveyor of the FICEP CNC angle punch and shear lines.
The semi-automatic milling unit mod. FRVL 200 has been designed to mill the angle heel edge.
In order to prepare the uprights in overlapping angles sections, electrical tower manufacturers have to mill the edges.
Angles are milled along the corner edge for a length, and to a depth that can be programmed with mechanical and electrical end-strokes.
