Fideris
The Fideris™ Forward Pressure Delivery module provides computer control of gas pressure to a downstream process. In addition to pressure control, the module can provide mass flow measurements of the gas consumption rate with models available to measure and control from tens of Pa up to hundreds of kPa. For low pressure models, an external static pressure input port provides for the highest pressure measurement accuracy and 100% digital control from the computer to the pressure controller and mass flow meter eliminates errors due to analog electronics and associated calibration issues. A typical application includes dead-ended operation of fuel cells where the system pressure is computer controlled and reactant flow rate is determined by consumption by the fuel cell. Coupled with the Fideris exhaust gas handling system and the pair can provide tail gas purging for automated removal of contaminants from the fuel cell. Various wetted materials to match your application are available, including brass, 316L stainless, and 316VAR with UPH fittings and components.
