Fideris™ Three-Phase Heater Power Controller
The Fideris™ rackmount temperature control panel provides the user with a line-voltage heater power controlled output and optional a second output channel for an external cooling circuit (cooling fan or proportional valve position control) and a third input for a temperature limit and an internal low voltage power supply to power the external cooling system. A mechanical contactor is used as a secondary means of disconnecting the heaters for fail-safe operation with zero current leakage. A hardwired standby circuit allows the module to initiate or respond to a shutdown signal from any of the other Fideris modules, from the computer, or from an external source. Front panel circuit overcurrent protection, status LEDs, and LCD display provide system status at a glance. Currents outputs up to 30A are available in a 2U rackmount module with backpanel UL rated twist-lock power input and outputs. Direct wired versions and units with CE marked country specific receptacles are available with current ratings up to 150 amps. Computer interface is standard and full-automation control software included.
The Fideris three-phase heater power controller is but one of several temperature control models, all of which integrate seamlessly with over a hundred other physical process control modules in the Fideris product line. Available as stand-alone units or complete turn-key systems, Fideris brand equipment covers nearly all aspects control and monitoring for test systems, reactors, laboratory automation, sensor testing, environmental chamber atmosphere control, quality control, and many other applications.
