Fideris™ Fluid Degassing and Pressurization Module
In liquid delivery systems, pressure drops caused by valves, pressure regulators, orifices, and other flow restrictions can cause bubble formation as entrained gases effervesce and coalesce into larger bubbles. For critical liquid flow applications dissolved gas and gas bubbles can create flow instabilities and measurement errors that can be minimized or eliminated through the proper degassing of the liquid. The Fideris™ fluid Degassing and Pressurization module utilizes an integrated vacuum system and membrane degassers to remove both bubbles and dissolved gas in demineralized water and many other fluids susceptible to gas uptake. The module includes a speed-controlled smart vacuum pump that maintains a stable vacuum level while preventing excess operating noise and maximizing the life of the vacuum pump. To provide the liquid pressurization, units are available with line voltage, low voltage, or pneumatically-driven double-diaphragm pump for high-purity or intrinsically safe applications. Pressurization systems are available with demand pumps or long-life magnetically coupled gear and centrifugal pumps for continuous circulation. Additional options include an internal reservoir and variable-speed pumping system with internal flow measurement and closed loop feedback for an all-in-one flow controlled recirculation system. External resin beds, liquid coolers, UV systems, and resistivity/conductivity monitors are available for deionized water polishing, maintenance, and monitoring when operating in recirculation mode.
