Electrostatic air cleaners and mechanical filters A highly effective range of mechanical, electrostatic and cartridge filters. Smoke removal A two stage electrostatic precipitator, predominantly used for smoke extraction. Contaminated air is drawn into the precipitator where it's screened by a mechanical prefilter removing large particles. The air then passes through a uniquely designed aerofoil ioniser and is subjected to an intense electrostatic field which charges the particles in the airstream. These enter the collecting cell where earthed plates collect the particles. Fume removal Mobile mechanical filters are ideally suited for fume removal at various welding workplaces. The mechanical welding smoke filter unit guarantees effective cleaning, with a filter efficiency above 99.9 %.
