- U axis: diamond roll vertical feed
- W axis: diamond roll horizontal feed (optional)
- B axis: helix inclination (optional)
Axes Z and C are interpolated in order to create the thread pitch. The grinding wheel dressing can be obtained by either a shaped diamond roll (asse U) or by the interpolation of axes U and W.
