For liquids and condensate
To protect vacuum pumps against damage by trapping impurities and liquids, which can be suctioned i.e. via the vacuum cup. Suitable for a final vacuum level of 99.9 %. Note: Not suitable for aggressive acids!
Design:
Cylindrical container made of transparent Plexiglas, with a removable cover for checking and cleaning
Filter element made of stainless steel at the suction inlet, mesh opening 44 µm, for trapping impurities
Non-return valves:
at the suction inlet to prevent return air flow into the filter with the pump switched off
for automatic ejection of the liquid and impurities collected in the filter
Shut-off valve for manual discharge of the filter contents
Vacuum meter
Magnetic switch for automatic shutdown of the pump, when the liquid medium reaches the safety limit
2/2-way manual valves to block the vacuum as well as for restoring atmospheric pressure in the filter
Robust metallic suspension for wall mounting
Application areas:
Work with exposure to plenty of water, e.g. processing of marble, glass, wet wood, bricks and stones
On plastic molding machines
On lathes and milling machines, in which the work-pieces are fastened to vacuum clamping plates
