Carbide balls are used in variety of applications that require extreme hardness and wear resistance. They are used in such applications as ball screws, bearings, check valves, pumps and flow meters. They are also used for inspection tools, gauging, and comparative checking. When dealing with so many applications, grade selection is critical for achieving maximum results.

ATI Firth Sterling supplies carbide ball blanks in diameters ranging from 1/8 inch all the way to 3 3/4 inch. All our ball blanks are provided with grind stock sufficient to finish to size. Additionally, all ball blanks with a diameter of 3/4 inch and greater are offered without bands, eliminating a significant amount of material removal and time required for finishing.
