FISBA OPTIK
The FISBA Beam Twister™ (FBT) is an innovative beam shaping element for generating an almost symmetrical beam profile. The FBT unit is a beam twisting concept developed and patented by FISBA and consists of a FAC lens with a beam rotating lens array for nearly diffraction limited collimation and highest efficiency. For this purpose FISBA developed micro-optics for the individual beam twisting of each emitter of the diode laser bar for an almost round beam profile.
The FISBA Beam Twister™ shows a better performance than other comparable fiber coupling systems. The laser power can be coupled with an efficiency of more than 80% from the laser facet to the fiber output in fibers with a diameter of 400 micron (NA 0.22) and more than 70% in fibers with a diameter of 200 micron (NA 0.22).
The flexible design of the FBT unit offers the customer a multitude of executions for laser diodes in regard to pitch and emitter, customized to his specific application. FISBA offers its customers the complete optical solution from the simple component to the complex and customized optical system for Facet-to-Focus (F2F) solutions such as fiber coupling or beam collimation.
