This device is a TCP/IP server board that lets manufacturers and system integrators connect different devices such as home appliances and industrial control systems directly to the Ethernet network, and remotely monitor & control them with standard Ethernet protocols.

The hardware of the FiveCo TCP/IP module presents the following characteristics:

- The module is based on a Microchip PIC 18F6621 processor associated with a Realtek Ethernet chip RTL8019AS.

- A network layer integrating the IP and ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) protocols.

- A transmission layer managing the ICMP (ping),UDP, TCP and HTTP protocols in order to send the data to the dedicated application layer. Therefore, the TCP server is multiports.
