Fives Cinetic
Gardner brand grinding wheels from Fives Cinetic are produced with a variety of mechanical reinforcement technologies:
WIRE-LOKT® construction strengthens the abrasive structure with heavy gauge woven steel wire and specially-shaped steel anchoring nuts. Cup construction is used when the abrasives are Disc shaped for flat grinding operations on Double Disc and Single Disc grinders
* Cup-type construction involves compacting and curing the abrasive media around a specially-designed cup for maximum holding power. This technology is primarily used in mat phenolic resin bonded wheels.
* Fiberglass tape binding is used to reinforce cylinder and ring-type wheels used on Blanchard, Mattison and similar vertical spindle grinders.
- These wheels are available in diameters from 11" to 32" (279 mm to 812 mm), and thicknesses from 4" to 6" (102 mm to 152 mm).
- Cylinder wheel adapters are also available to ensure full abrasive use.
