Laser applications
Laser welding and special purpose laser application machines have been developed to weld mechanical parts in general with special emphasis on manual or automatic gearboxes.
While optimizing productivity, the systems produce high quality consistent welds:
- Energy imparted to the component is minimized;
- High welding speed;
- The beam can be guided into hard-to-reach areas;
- Low maintenance cost;
- Welding is performed under normal atmospheric pressure in an inert gas.
