FlowPro’s range of back draught dampers is available for installation either horizontally or vertically. Usually installed against ducts or against a fan as mostly this damper type is used for fan isolation.
The obvious advantage of back draught dampers (pressure relief dampers) is that actuators become unnecessary due to using the force of the air flow to open the damper and the gravity to close the damper. Apart from the cost advantage, the end user needs less control equipment.
