Portable Conveyors are a convenient, inexpensive solution for low-capacity stacking plans that require frequent relocation of conveyors, or adjusting the length as stacking progresses.

A portable conveyor consists of conveyor components and a frame structure supported by tires or tracks located at the head end of the system and a steel skid structure located at the tail end of the system. Portable conveyors can be moved by another vehicle such as a transporter or bulldozer. Other designs can include crawlers and can be moved under their own power. The standard portable conveyor is moved by towing or pushing on the tail end. Lift points, suitable for a forklift, are included at the head and tail ends for final adjustment once the conveyor is moved into position.
