Designed specifically for use in applications that have very specific demands the Flatprop proportional valve offers space, weight and power savings. Ideally suited for use in small portable devices such as critical care ventilators the Flatprop is available in two distinct designs namely direct and EQI (supply pressure compensated).

The EQI device allows high flow rates, up to 200 l/min @ 4 bar. Suitable for applications that involve gas the EQI variant is available with a 4.5mm orifice. The direct version is available with orifice sizes ranging from 0.1 to 2mm and the device operates with both liquid and gas. Both products provide small dimensions and low power consumption (0.5 to 2.5 W for the direct version and 2.5W for the EQI). Employing a frictionless design Flatprop demonstrates excellent controllability within closed loop circuits. Both versions are available in a cartridge design for easy assembly in to customer sub systems and different coils to match specific needs are available upon request.
