Fontijne Grotnes Rim Edge Conditioners are used to reduce or eliminate burrs around the inboard and outboard circumferential edges of rollformed rims. The operation of these Rim Edge Conditioners is both effective and efficient. Both the inside and outside edges are 'dressed' simultaneously, utilizing individual hydrostatic drives for each. The resultant edges can be rolled to a specific contour or may simply be de-burred. The uniquely engineered geometry of the Rim Edge Conditioner allows additional savings because a single set of tooling can be used to condition various rim models.
