The TMS-Pro is FTC's top-of-the-range texture analyzer, designed to be an affordable alternative to the higher priced systems available on the market.
The main benefits of this food texture system is its pinpoint accuracy of force measurement in tension and compression (data acquisition rate of 2000 readings per second), with precision positioning and speed control. Offering full programming capability, operators can easily change test methods and variables to assess different food characteristics.
The use of Texture Lab Pro software means test data is plotted in real-time providing initial observational analysis of the test as it is being performed. Once complete, operators can;
• Overlay multiple graphs to compare test results
• Interrogate results using analysis tools to assess performance in more detail
• Generate a report showing graph and test data
• Export report directly to Microsoft Excel or to an external printer
The TMS-Pro combined with Food Technology Corporation's test cells and fixtures means you can squash, snap, cut, puncture, extrude and stretch raw and processed food samples up to a maximum force of 2500N (562lbf).
