Burner Management Systems are implemented in two general types of platforms. The most common for utilities is in a plant wide Distributive Control System (DCS). Less common but just as reliable is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

DCS Platform

Forney will design and engineer the BMS logic's for implementation into the DCS hardware. The physical programming of the BMS can occur at Forney or the DCS suppliers location.

PLC Platform

Forney will design and engineer the BMS logic's for implementation into the PLC hardware. The physical programming of the BMS is done at the Forney facility as well as the Factory Acceptance Test.
