Isotherm semi-trailer The entire bodywork assembly is composed of sandwich panels based on smooth laminated polyester, fibreglass reinforced, coloured white right through; the material is of constant thickness, food-grade approved, polymerized right through at controlled temperature and pressure. Outside and inside, it covers an insulating core of rigid, high-density polyurethane foam. The best coefficients of thermal resistivity (0.25 watts) are obtained by means of a high performance technology. There are no visible joints, and the rigid construction helps to ensure that no thermal bridges are formed. The substance used is rot-proof and resistant to mechanical or chemical attack. In case of accident, it can be easily repaired in a very short time. The materials are suitable for transport at controlled temperatures between +5° and -25°C, but they are also strong enough for industrial use. The floors, in particular, are designed to withstand intensive trolley traffic.
