High pressure vise
2 500 - 5 000 kg
Fresmak
Specific features of the Arnold compact high pressure hydraulic vises:
Hydraulic clamping mechanism.
Arnold compact vises maintain a constant overall length, regardless of jaw opening
Depending on model clamping pressures of 2.5, 4 or 5 tons are obtained manually with little operator effort.
Stable and robust monobloc design virtually eliminates distortion (one-piece body and fixed jaw).
Main features:
-Large selection of accessories available.
-Easy to remove movable jaw for cleaning of the vise body interior.
-Supplied with 1 set of plain jaws, 1 handle and 4 toe clamps.
Operating Procedure:
-Connect the vise to a hydraulic line with a pressure of 500 bars (7250 psi).
-The movable jaw should be positioned manually closer than 3mm (1/8") of the part.
-The movable jaw has a clamping travel of up to 4 mm (3/16").
-High pressure is activated by a foot pedal or by the CNC control of the machine causing the movable jaw to advance and to clamp the part.
-To unclamp the pressure is released.
Clamping cycle consists of four phases:
* Movement towards the part.
* High pressure clamping.
* Releasing the part.
* Return.
-Clamping pressure can be changed by controlling hydraulic pressure.
