The major functionality of SD-Piping includes the design, modeling and drafting of plans of a pipe structure: - Creation of levels, modeling the different levels of the pipe. - Creation of the wire lines representing the pipelines routes, either by coordinates or by fixing points within the different levels. - Full size representations of wire components. - 3D representation of the different lines. - Planning of piping level by level, using automatic B.O.M.. - In direct relation with the SchemPID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). - Customization files. Levels The creation of pipelines with SD-Piping integrates the notion of levels. These levels model the different floors of the piping. All levels are created in relation to level 0 which is the reference point (for example, the ground). Wire Lines The wire lines are a full-size representation of those of piping. The automatic creation of curves, feedback and movement in relation to the level enable fast and easy modeling of the piping. The choice of the piping dimensions is made from a logical table integrating the notions of the Nominal Diameter (ND) and thickness.
