The FL 2500 2.5 MW system sets standards: with rotor sizes of 90, 100 and 104 m the FL 2500 can be optimally adapted to all site conditions and wind zones. 85 und 100 m tubular steel towers as well as various lattice towers up to 160 m hub heights provide the prerequisites for the economic coverage of inland and costal regions. For instance, the great hub height also predestines the FL 2500 for implementation in forested regions.
Of course the FL 2500 fulfils the latest grid connection requirements and is therefore compatible with international power grids.
It is also certified for many national grid codes. The unique drive unit concept with its large rotor bearing and the compact shaft coupling and the compact gearbox ensures even more safety and a longer service life. The latter also applies to the especially designed hub with its enclosed operating area.
