The GSM-1000 is a Hayes-compatible modem that accepts modified "AT-" commands and communicates over standard GSM radio networks. Data, faxes, email, etc., can be transmitted over existing GSM radio networks using these modems. An embedded microprocessor handles all the GSM communication functions of the GSM-1000. It has a rugged metal housing, can be installed on DIN rails, and operates on supply voltages of 12 to 24 VDC. It is therefore ideally suited for a wide range of industrial automation, data logging and telemetry applications.
