Description

FUTEK’s TRS705 Non-Contact Shaft to Shaft Rotary Torque Sensor with Encoder features a shaft to shaft mounting solution with torque measurements ranging from ± 1 Nm to 1000 Nm (± 9 in-lb to 8851 in-lb) and a torsional stiffness of 317 Nm/rad to 173600 Nm/rad. The TRS705 utilizes metal foil strain gauge technology and features non-contact signal transmission allowing the sensor to operate at up to 7000 RPM.

The TRS705 features a pair of built-in rotary encoders, ideal for measuring shaft speed and position. The TRS705 contains an internal amplifier allowing the torque transducer to generate a ±5 VDC output. Typical applications include the testing of built-in nut runners or torque measurement with hand screw driving tools. This version with shaft ends and mounting support can be used as a functional check on tilt procedure or rotation monitoring.
