WIRE-LOKT® construction is primarily used in oxychloride bonded wheels and some other dry grind operations. It involves strengthening the abrasive structure with heavy gauge woven steel wire and psecially-shaped steel anchoring nuts.
Cup-type construction is used in mat phenolic resin bonded wheels. This strengthening method involves compacting and curing the abrasive media around a specially-designed cup for maximum holding power.
