Description

Extremely long service life ROTODISK S unions are fitted with extremely wear-resistant hydrostatically relieved silicon carbide mechanical seals to ensure low frictional torque and minimal wear, accordingly. An automatic self-alignment system ensures that the axial face seals always have full surface contact – even when subject to high pressures and high speeds at the same time. Reliable and robust The micro-gap system allows emulsions to be switched off without any leakage impulse, permitting the system to run dry at full speed without being pressurized by medium pressure. Spindle or hybrid ball bearings installed in high-precision steel housings ensure robust and smooth running. Maximum flexibility To facilitate the transmission of different media such as emulsion, air or oil-air mixture, we offer a variant capable of handling all three operating modes. Integrated valves switch between the different media.
