The Rotostat E series are rotary unions with radial clearance seals, which are hydrostatically aligned. Gases are possible mediums in addition to hydraulic oil and water. The patented sealing principle of the Rotostat E makes safe operation possible under very high pressures and operating speeds with compact design: a bushing floating between the housing and the shaft is centered by hydrostatic forces on the axle, which creates a very small clearance seal. The leakage is further minimized during rotation by patented sealing bush distortion, so that the leakage is very small.
