MIB High Impedance Bus Differential System offers three-phase high impedance differential protection for substation busbars. MIB is a bus bar protection relay from the MII Family of protection relays, specially designed for single or split busbar arrangements. MIB also provides zero sequence differential (restricted ground fault) protection for reactors, generators, and large motors.
HID High Impedance Differential Module are auxiliary resistors and varistors used for high impedance differential schemes. They combine resistors with voltage limiters (MOVs) together with a high-speed overcurrent relay to protect busbars and electrical machines, such as transformers, generators or motors, and in restricted earth fault protection.
