ICS daqPC is a fully configured sensor processing solution that is tailored to a user requirement and delivered within 60 days and at a catalog price. Using GE Intelligent Platforms and third party boards, a daqPC is integrated for real-time applications that require recording, playback, and processing of large volumes of signal data. The heart of the daqPC is the ICS analog I/O products that provide high channel count and/or high bandwidth capability. Of particular interest is the high-speed record/playback capability of the daqPC using removable hard drives. The sustained record/playback speed is over 600 MBytes/s. To put this impressive performance in perspective, up to 1500 channel of data - each digitized with a 16-bit ADC and sampled at a rate of 200 kHz/ch - can be recorded in real-time. For radio and radar signals, three signals with a 40 MHz flat-top bandwidth can be recorded or played back. The maximum storage capacity within a 4U high enclosure provides up to 16 Terabytes. Additional storage is available by using an expansion chassis. The daqPC can support time-stamping, BIT, and other common or custom system requirements.

The daqPC can be used as arbitrary waveform generation and simulator and stimulator system. The large storage capability allows the user to pre-compute or pre-store scenarios that can be played back to generate live signals. Multi-channel signals can be very easily generated, thereby making the daqPC an extremely cost effective replacement for dedicated lab equipment.
