The innovation against the blue haze
GEA Piccotron is the heart of the filter system GEA ATpicco. The high efficiency of this innovation is based on the patented wave-shaped ioniser. Due to the curved construction of the ioniser, suspended particles (aerosols) no longer remain in the ionisation field at an equal rate of air flow and comparable filter dimensions. The suspended particles are more strongly charged and can thus be better deflected and separated in the collector. Furthermore, the geometry ensures the specifically directed swirling of air in the ioniser and a star-shaped electric field around the spray electrodes. This construction enhances the separation efficiency by up to 25% compared to conventional electrostatic dust filters. GEA Piccotron is therefore outstandingly suitable for the removal of smoke and others fine dusts.
