Cooling tower
GEA Ergé-Spirale et Soramat
GEA cooling towers operate on the principle of a counter-current flow. The water to be cooled enters by the upper part of the tower and is distributed by a network of tubes equipped with sprays over the whole exchange surface (flow surface or tubular exchanger). The water runs through the body of the exchanger and is collected in a collector at the base of the tower. The air forced by the fans travels in the opposite direction to the water in the exchanger, is filtered in the eliminator then escapes from the tower.
