The excellent separation efficiency of Venturi scrubbers results from the high relative velocity between the dust-laden gas flow and the scrubbing liquid in the Venturi throat.
Energy must be produced for the acceleration of the gas flow. During this process the gas flow suffers a pressure drop, which represents an indication of the separation efficiency.
With an adjustable conical control mechanism in the Venturi throat, the diversion area can be altered and thereby adapted to any gas quantity.
Standard designs:
Plastic: thermoplast with and without GRP reinforcement as for example, PP, PE, PVC/GRP, PVDF/GRP
Steel: with and without corrosion protection, stainless steel and special materials such as titanium, hastelloy etc.
Gas throughput: 100 to 30,000 m³/hr
