Bio polymer plastic profile GEHR Kunststoffwerk

PLA-L
GEHR PLA-L is a blend of polylactic (polylactic acid), some lignine, fatty acid
and wax. This biopolymer is new to our company and can be used in temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +60 °C.
General properties:
• thermoplastic based on renewable raw materials, therefore it is ecologically
harmless and neutral in the CO2-result
• PLA-L is biodegradable
• waste disposal e.g. by composting respectively incineration
• good mechanical properties similar to ABS
• higher stiffness and a modulus of elasticity up to 2740 MPa
• good impact strength also at low temperatures up to -30 °C
• high resistance to polar solvents
