Desiccant or Regenerative compressed air dryers use desiccant media to adsorb moisture and contaminants from compressed air. Throughout the life of the desiccant dryer the desiccant media is regenerated. The twin-tower design of General Air Products’ desiccant dryers allows accumulated water to be removed from the desiccant media while the compressed air of your process is being dried without interruption! This process also allows our desiccant dryers to dry the compressed air to very low dew points of either -40°F, -80°F, or -100°F. These low dew points are necessary for critical compressed air applications or for those in extremely cold ambient conditions where any moisture remaining in the air would freeze inside compressed air system piping and block flow.

Units are sized to provide a -40°F pressure dewpoint with optional capabilitv for -100°F for point of use or total plant applications. Designed with the following standard features:

- Master control panel with tower drying, power on and purge indicator lights, power on/off switch, and flow diagram
- Fully adjustable purge for varying site conditions; fixed purge available
- Oversized purge mufflers on each tower for quiet discharges and minimum back pressure
- Tower safety relief valves-standard on all sizes
- Low bed velocities for minimum pressure loss and maximum drying efficiency
- Corrosion resistant valving for maximum life expectancy
- Free-standing design compact enough to fit in most small locations
- Front facing controls and indicators easily accessible
- Simplified mechanical arrangement affording maximum protection to critical components
