Genevac's original HT-4 and the new HT-4X centrifugal vacuum evaporator has been specifically designed for drug discovery laboratories, from medicinal chemistry, to purification and metabolism studies. In keeping with all Genevac products the HT-4X was developed with input from pharmaceutical research scientists.
The system incorporates enhanced capabilities and higher performance than the smaller systems and has many recent new features such at HCl resistance option and Fast Lyophilisation capability.
The HT-4X is easy to use, ultra compact, and has many options to help deliver high performance efficient sample processing.
The built-in VC2300 dual chamber refrigerated condenser is a powerful cryopump and solvent recovery system. This unique dual purpose, compact design saves valuable laboratory bench space. The complete system uses approximately half the bench space of standard centrifugal evaporation systems.
Temperature is via the patented SampleGuard%u2122 temperature control system and comes as standard along with Genevac's patented Dri-Pure%u2122 bumping prevention system. For those evaporating water containing sameples the high power lamp option delivers upto a 50% reduction in evaporation time. Newly available are options for resistance to routine use of HCl and the automatic defrost and drain option to help those working with mixtures of solvents such as HPLC fractions and for those wishing to perform fast lyophilisation using the LyoSpeed%u2122 method.
