DESCRIPTION OF THE TEST
It is about a static test of loading of the ground in place carried out thanks to a dilatable cylindrical probe radially introduced into a drilling.
The test makes it possible to obtain a curve of variation of volumetric information of the ground according to the pressure applied, and to define a relation stress-strain of the ground in place on the assumption of a plane deformation.
3 parameters are determined: a modulus of deformation of the ground, a pressure known as of creep and a pressure known as limiting.
