The following advantages can be realized using M-Tech®P:

-Large component tolerances can be compensated precisely and quickly in only a few steps.
-Various materials are available for the suitable applications, i.e. for the known thickness value or material resisting to corrosion.
-The tightness requirements of the fitting elements can be satisfied by means of adhesives.
Handling is easier if adhesive is only applied at a few points around the circumference of the shim or only on one side, much in the same manner as a “tear-off” calendar. Shim packages can be bundled at a lower price as "loose leaf shims" instead of gluing them around the circumference. (see photo above)
