The new stainless steel enclosure is rated for IP69K and therefore suitable for hygienic applications.
Apart from the high degree of protection, the enclosure mainly impresses with its elegant appearance due to the compact design and rounded edges. The enclosure is supplied ready- for-connection with a 4- or 8-pole M12 connector and two inconspicuous but strong plastic straps for fastening it on a flat surface.
Although the two 22 mm mounting apertures accept appropriate actuators out of the Schlegel product range, the membrane keys RRJVAFT (with illuminating option), made of stainless steel V4A, will be the best choice for this enclosure, both visually and technically. They combine the advantages of a membrane keypad - complying with the IP69K rating and hygiene requirements EN1972-2 - with the flexibility of conventional actuators. The inner marking rings are available in black, red or green as a standard, the nameplate inside the key can be supplied with standard or special imprints giving customers a great latitude in configuration.
