The CTV linear series ensures unparalleled speed and reliability from its cast iron construction for maximum production safety and performance in 3-shift operation. Innovative DMG features have become the benchmark in vertical turning, these include dynamic linear technology, fast- and high-torque main spindle, and advanced control technology. Due to the expansion of the machine series by the CTV 400 linear with a twin turret, the application range has been extended to include workpieces requiring a large number of tools.

In addition, the CTV linear series offers customer-specific expansion options:
2-sided machining: on a single machine (turn-around station 180°)
Cycle machining: on two machines with the same pallet size
Linear chain-linking: for two machines or more with the same pallet size
