Gilson's 171 and 172 Diode Array Detectors deliver rugged and accurate detection for both preparative and analytical HPLC. Detection is done with a fiber optic light path that can be configured in a fixed or remote flow cell design.

* With remote flow cell, the power of the detector is located directly at the outlet of the column, which yields virtually no peak broadening.
* An interchangeable flow cell design allows for both the 171 and 172 Detectors to accommodate analytical and semi-preparative to preparative applications.
