Optronic Laboratories offers full spectrum and standard spectra solar simulators for photvoltaic testing and UV erythemal edge dependant applications. Systems include 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 inch uniformly illuminated field versions for photovoltaic and UV applications. The entire source, power supply, control electronics, shutter, lamp, and optical compartment are housed in a compact enclosure. To prevent any dust or dirt particles from being introduced into an optical system, which can degrade system performance and shorten the life of critical optical components, all units utilize a HEPA filter cooking fan. Other features include:

* Irradiance uniformaity of ± 5% or better
* One (1) sun or better irradiance up to 8x8 inch fields
* TTL or switch-controlled single blade electronic shutter
* Minimum exposure time of 100 ms or better
* 1% RMS or better light ripple
