The VISCORobo is a fully automatic Viscosity and Melt Flow Rate Test Robot which feeds the test material into the test chamber automatically, performs the test and then cleans the test chamber, test piston and capillary. The VISCORobo can be used to determine viscosity curves, the melt flow rate MFR in g/10min and the melt volume rate MVR in cm³/10min of plastic, granules, "gravel" and powder. The gravel and powder must be free-flowing.

Key Features:

- The sample container is identified automatically by means of the attached bar-code label.

- The sample container is transferred to the sample magazine automatically.

- The capillary die required to perform the test is transferred from the capillary magazine and inserted in the test chamber automatically.

- The test material is fed into the test chamber automatically.

- The capillary is transferred from the test chamber to the cleaning oven automatically after the test has been completed.

- The capillaries are returned automatically to the correct position in the capillary magazine after they have been cleaned in the oven.
