The gas chromatograph in the 580 series sets the standard for reliable performance in various applications. The GC has been so impressive, that it’s often referred to as “The Workhorse” instrument by 580 users. It can be custom fit to meet exact requirements, utilizing a PID, DID, TCD, or FID detector. A dual or single column is available, and the chromatograph accommodates ¼-in or 1/8-in o.d. metal, capillary columns, or 6-mm glass. The temperature range of the column is ambient to a 400 C maximum. Independent temperature controls are available for the detector, column oven, and injection ports. The LED display features a 3-1/2 digit readout. Valve manipulation and online monitoring are possible via software or linking workstation. The power range is 50-60 Hz or 110-220 V.
