Compressors are produced in two configurations: vertical and horizontal.
Vertical configuration featuring the compressor-over-engine design is used in compressors with the capacity ranging between 100 and 600 nl/min
Horizontal configuration is used for compressors with the capacity ranging between 600 and 3500 nl/min.
All compressors are balanced and installed on elastic-damper supports eliminating the need for special fixation on foundation. It is sufficient that compressors are placed on an even surface, energized and connected to consumers.
Bauer Kompressoren is the only manufacturer providing industrial compressors with working cylinders surface nitrogenized with the use of gas or plasma coating technique. This helps to avoid replacement of working cylinders over the entire compressors operating life. Reduced wear of compressors final stages is achieved through the use of floating pistons (while piston rod is linked with guide piston, compressive piston moves freely with the elimination of normally present distorting loads). Manufacturers of roller bearings of crankshaft and piston rods are designed so as to provide for a considerable safety factor and over 30000 running time.
These measures along with the careful selection of lubricating oils contribute to the compressors high reliability by continuous service with long interval between scheduled maintenance.
