Transfer line
GROB
GROB-WERKE
Modular transfer system by GROB
GROB developed a new, integral moodular transfer system, intrducing a new era of transfer technology. With this technology the transfer lines can be set flexibly at any height and can be expanded as required - and this with reduced expenses.
The Advantages for You:
Flexible cycle time
By connecting the individual stations with the transfer modules the cycle time can be chosen and combined as desired. This results in a reduced machine length.
Differing clamping heights
The individual modules make it possible to clamp the workpieces in each station at different heights. Even locating and clamping up is possible.
Thermal linear expansion
No problem. In comparison to a regular transfer system with a transfer bar, no thermal linear expansion needs to be taken into consideration in the modular, independent design of this innovative system.
Reduced aggregate sizes
As a result of the stations' sequential mode of operation, it is possible to use units with smaller dimensions for the supply of the hydraulic fluid and coolant as well as cabinets for the electrical power supply.
Free chip flow
By eliminating the transfer bars and having movable loading modules between the stations, all contours that might cause obstructions were removed, allowing for a free downward flow of the chips.
