DC motor GROSCHOPPThe company Groschopp AG has totally revised, re-modelled and renewed its well-established and for many years successfully run range of field-wound commutator motors (EM, KM).
The goals at the start of this re-design were set as follows: Enhancing the power spectral density Improving the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Reducing the brush-wear Reducing manufacturing variances Reducing manufacturing cost The new models of field-wound commutator-motors made by Groschopp AG comprises 6 different type sizes. KE / KH 44 KE / KH 50 KE / KG 70 KE / KG 80 KE / KG 87 KE / KG 94 The first classification letter stands for the motor-manufacturing-principle (K: field-wound commutator-motor), the second classification letter stands for the model-construction (E: skeleton-type motor, G: housed motor, H: hand-motor), while the number following the two classification letters gives the outside-diameter in mm of the pole-ring stack. The higher power spectral density of the new models can either be used for performance at a higher output-torque, or else using the same torque as before the volume of the motor can be reduced. |
