Description
Different types of ROTOS pumps are TK, VTK and TKR with multistage centrifugal characteristics. These are different from ordinary centrifugal pumps, because of no self priming feature. Therefore, it is important to fill and vent pump casing as well as a suction pipe at the first start. The pipe should have a foot valve for the suction level below the pump. The first critical speed of the rotor is lower than the actual speed of operation. Therefore, in the presence of motor with changeable speed driver, invert or any similar device, it is vital to build it carefully to reduce the chances of risk during operations in the critical speed.
