The latest advance series consists of a single impeller centrifugal pump joined by a spindle to a completely enclosed asyinchronous motor. External ventilation is available to obtain the motor cooling and the casing of pump is equipped with fastening feet for all pumps connected to motors up to size 132. Bigger sized motors from B3/B5 are fixed to pump casing without binding feet. The shaft seal is of the automatic type. There is a guide list to provide performance data and the nameplate refers to the continuous duty and clear water (specific weight 1000 Kg/m³) with a manometric suction head of 2 meters. It features higher heads up to 6÷8 meters, but these heads can reduce the consequential flow. The suction pipes are completely sealed and the diameter is greater or equal to the suction nozzle. In different cases, the internal fluid velocity may not exceed 2 m/sec at suction and 3 m/sec at delivery.
