Gruppo Aturia has developed the submersible pumps for agricultural and municipality applications. These pumps are made out of grey cast iron as this material has a good resistance to rust. Back in the 1970’s we developed the pumps with radial and mixed flow that were completely made out of bronze and they can manipulate with volcanic, brackish and salt water. Bronze is very resistant to salt that can be found in sea and brackish waters and to the acids that can be found in volcanic waters. In the last decade, using the newly developed low wax casting process we developed the stainless steel impellers for our grey cast iron pumps.- In 2007 we have launched the entire range of 6 in to 12 in pumps completely made out of stainless steel.
